My excitement is getting the best of me.

I've never been a person to make a 'bucket list' for bands I want to see. It's not that I don't have bands that I really want to see...it's that there's probably TOO many, and it starts to feel overwhelming. Like I'm never going to actually see them all.

There's also the justification of costs, travel, time, and dealing with other people that play into seeing some legendary bands. Things that decrease the enjoyment you might have.

But if I were to sit down and make that list, Led Zeppelin would be on there. However, looking at the cost/travel/time/other people matrix, that show seems very unlikely for me. Which I'm sure is the same for a lot of people in the Shreveport/Bossier area.

However, when we got a chance to announce that Robert Plat, the legendary voice of Led Zeppelin, WAS coming to Shreveport (Friday March 11th), there was a spark.

If it's unlikely that you will ever see Led Zeppelin, then seeing Robert Plant is the next best option. Considering that this show is at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium, we've not eliminated most of the costs and travel worries from our little matrix we made earlier.

Plus this show is on a FRIDAY NIGHT! Limiting your excuses about taking a bunch of time off from work. As far as the 'dealing with other people' concern goes, this is an indoor show at the Muni, not some massive outdoor festival where tens-of-thousands of people smash together after not bathing for 2-3 days at a time. So that concern is limited too.

Basically what I'm saying is that this is a near perfect situation.

So the only other concern that might creep up is the "it says Sensational Space Shifters, they're not doing Led Zeppelin stuff". Which I feel like we've covered before, but we'll do it again...that's not true.

Robert Plant will always play Zeppelin music. His tours with The Sensations Space Shifters ALWAYS includes Zep cuts. Here's another fine example from Glastonbury:
