Seven years ago today, we lost one of the greatest minds of all time. He may have been a comedian by trade, but George Carlin was more than that.

In today's world, we don't have philosophers...at least not like they used to. We don't have Plato or Aristotle, instead we had minds like Carlin's. Someone who could see the world for what it is, and articulate our shortcomings in a way that we could all understand. He tore through the social walls we tried to build with religion and language, to point out how wrong we were, as a whole. His words put a finger into the ribs of 'the establishment' and made them feel like he could see through their BS.
