Following Monday's (Feb. 1) Iowa Caucus where Donald Trump placed second place after Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea has shared his thoughts on Trump and the GOP presidential field as a whole -- and he definitely doesn’t hold back.

“I can’t take Donald Trump or anything he says seriously,” Flea told Rolling Stone. “I just think he’s a silly reality-show bozo and blustering guy who likes getting attention.”

“He’s just some egotistical, silly person whose main concern in life is getting a blowjob,” the bassist continued. “He wants to be on TV and he wants everyone to think he’s important.”

In that way, Flea asserts Donald Trump doesn’t actually want the Republican nomination or even the presidency. Instead, Trump’s outrageous remarks -- which have targeted Mexicans, Muslims and women -- are mere theatrics. “I don’t think he even believes what he says,” he said. “He’s just a product of, if you yell loud enough and bluster around enough, people are going to pay attention to you.”

Of course, Flea and the rest of his RHCP bandmates have long since endorsed Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders. They’ll perform at the Vermont senator’s upcoming fundraiser in L.A. this Saturday, Feb. 5. Find details right here.
