The early 2000s was a weird time for a lot of us. Pop punk/emo dominated the musical scene. Bands like Dashboard Confessional, Fall Out Boy, Blink 182, Alkaline Trio, My Chemical Romance, etc.. were white hot. Women wore a lot of black. Dudes wore a lot of 'guy-liner'. It was just a strange, strange period for a lot of us.

And, while don't miss dressing like a complete and utter tool bag, I have to admit that I had a LOT of fun during my emo years. Which is why I'm pretty pumped that Hawthorne Heights are playing Bear's on November 21st.

These dudes were pretty awesome back in the day. Plus, it's always nice to have an excuse to wear some work shirts, skinny chinos and black nail polish.

If you want to hit the time machine and remember an era that thankfully has passed us by, get your tickets to see Hawthorne Heights here.
