Never one to spend time in front of the tube watching 'Game of Thrones', Maynard J. Keenan isn't satisfied with running a vineyard or working on a new Tool album.  In the spaces in between, Kennan has a remix of Puscifer's 'Conditions of My Parole' on tap, as well as a live/skit Puscifer DVD ('What is...") in the works.

For the remix disc, Keenan has enlisted Sir Mix-a-Lot, Telefon Tel Aviv, This Mortal Coil cofounder John Fryer, Isis/Palms drummer Aaron Harris and singer-songwriter Carina Round.  Look for the CD in stores and online August 27th. Here's a little taste, the Sir Mix-A-Lot F.U.B.A.R. remix of 'Conditions of My Parole':

The 'What is...' DVD is set to drop November 26, and will feature live performances and skits. Aside from the two finished projects, Maynard is also working on a nine-track limited-edition Black Friday vinyl release, Puscifer's 8-Ball Bail Bonds - The Berger Barns Live in Phoenix, which the group recorded on the band's first tour in December 2009.  Oh, yeah...then there's that new Tool album.  Rumors say it's finished and ready to go, while others say, "Uh...maybe next year...".  We'll just have to wait and see.
