Primus & The Chocolate Factory In Shreveport This Weekend

Over the last few weeks, I have heard the phrase "I've lived here my whole life, and never thought Primus would come to Shreveport" or some form of that statement. Well, they're coming, and they're only a few days away.

This Sunday at The Strand Theatre in downtown Shreveport, Primus is bringing their Primus & The Chocolate Factory tour to town. This will be one of the final US stops on the tour, which will likely never be performed again. The tour is based around their recent album (of the same name) which was a re-imagining of the 1971 movie soundtrack to Charlie & The Chocolate Factory. During the tour, the band will do one 'greatest hits' set, followed by the Chocolate Factory material...which will include costumes and props.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime show.
