Pop Evil’s Leigh Kakaty Gives a Guitar Pick to a Grandmother at Festapalooza [PHOTOS]

Pop Evil rocked Festapalooza (of course), but they also brought a measure of poignancy to the concert. Lead singer Leigh Kakaty made one little grandma in particular a very happy woman when he jumped off the stage to personally hand her a guitar pick.

We were just as surprised as Leigh to see the grandmother hanging out in the crowd. But it goes to show that rockers come in all different shapes, sizes and, yes, ages.

Keeping with the family theme, Kakaty dedicated the song "Torn to Pieces," which he had written for his departed father, to all the parents and grandparents in the crowd.

The Pop Evil frontman also praised Shreveport, La. for exposing local youth to rock music, and expressed support for US troops that serve and have served.
