Police Searching for Suspects in West Shreveport Shooting

Shreveport police are trying to identify and catch several suspects who exchanged gunfire, damaging multiple homes in west Shreveport.

Just before 3PM Friday, police were called to the 300 block of West 68th Street to a report tht someone had been shot there. When they arrived, they were unable to locate a shooting victim or confirn that anyone had actually suffered a gunshot wound. They did, however, find multiple shell casings from at least two different weapons.

Preliminary evidence suggests there was an exchange of gunfire by at least two suspects, one of whom may have driven to the location and fired shots from a vehicle. Police found three vehicles and three homes on that block had been damaged by bullets during the exchange.
