Police Searching for Man Who Robbed Local Motel

Shreveport police have released this photo captured from surveillance video during an overnight armed robbery in west Shreveport.

Just before 11 p.m., officers responded to a reported armed robbery at the Super 8 Motel in the 4900 block of Monkhouse Drive. They learned a male wearing a red and black hoodie and khaki pants pulled a handgun and took an undisclosed amount of money from the business.

The suspect fled in an unknown direction. No employees were hurt during the robbery.
