Shreveport police investigators are looking for a man wanted in connection with an aggravated assault earlier this month.

On May 6, a woman called police and told them while she was in the 3600 block of Jewella Avenue, she had been physically assaulted by an unknown male, who threatened her with a firearm.

During the attack, the man, later identified as 25-year-old Christopher J. Williams, pulled a semi-automatic rifle on the woman, then punched her several times in the face. She suffered minor injuries. Williams was last seen driving an unknown-colored Toyota Camry with no hubcaps.

Investigators now have an arrest warrant for Williams charging him with aggravated assault with a firearm. Williams has a number of very distinguishable tattoos covering a large portion of his neck. If you know where he might be, call Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
