Photos Released of Shreveport Robbery Suspect

Shreveport police have released surveillance photos from an armed robbery last month at a local convenience store.

On August 23, patrol officers were called to an armed robbery at the Circle K in the 2100 block of Bert Kouns. They found out a man armed with a handgun accosted a store employee, who was standing outside the business. He forced the worker inside the business and ordered him to hand over cash from the register.

The suspect made off with an unknown amount of cash, and was last seen running behind the business. He was described as a black male wearing a black knit stocking cap, long-sleeved white shirt, and dark shorts with red and white stripes on the side.
