Today would have been Dimebag's 46th Birthday if that jackass wouldn't have taken his life much too soon. It's been 8 years and it’s still hard to believe it’s been that long since we as a rock community lost one the nicest, coolest guys ever to WALK the face of the planet.
Pantera fans have been rejoicing in the 20th anniversary reissue of ‘Vulgar Display of Power‘ and the emergence of the lost single ‘Piss‘ for a good portion of the spring, but that’s not the last thing we’ll see from the legendary metal band this year.
Fresh off their recent premiere of the song ‘Drink Drank Drunk‘ here at Loudwire, Hellyeah are now streaming their brand new album ‘Band of Brothers,’ which drops July 17, in full. You can listen to every single one of the album’s 11 tracks by clicking the button below.
In the early nineties Pantera were hitting their stride, and with the recent reissue of 1992’s Vulgar Display of Power’ twenty years later, it’s hard not to remember what an impact Pantera had on music during that era.
While Pantera fans would love to see some kind of reunion, whatever rifts that exist between bandmembers don't appear to be healing. In the meantime, there are still some options for metal fans, including Hellyeah.
We here at 99X like to party hard. So, there's a LOT of things that are kinda fuzzy: concerts, parties, Monday nights at Action Central...and I have a feeling there are a lot of things you can't remember either
Check out my exclusive interview with Phil from Down, Pantera, Superjoint Ritual to name a few...Phil will be playing tonight at the Municipal Auditorium with Down along with special guest Haarp and it will be the last show for River Blindness
Pantera are one of the very few bands whose power and influence has remained legendary for decades. As Pantera consistently remain one of the most discussed bands in metal history, the subject of a partial reunion comes up fairly regularly. However, the question remains — who would fill the spot of the late, great “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott?
I am a big fan of strippers. Why? Because they are the only women I can get to touch my penis on a regular basis. But, that's not really the point of this post. My point is that I go to the strip club a lot and I hear a lot (A LOT!) of crappy rap music. I mean, there are a few good rap songs that are good for the strip club, but most of them are pure crap.
