New Information Released in Officer-Involved Shooting

The investigation into Saturday's officer-involved shooting at Barksdale and Westgate continues.

Police say the officer involved, Sgt. Kenneth Johnson, remains on paid administrative leave, per departmental policy. Sgt. Johnson has been with the department since 1994.

An investigation found the weapon the suspect, Malik Wortham, pulled on the officer was loaded. He remains at University Health. He's expected to be charged once he's released from the hospital.
