On Beats 1 Radio this morning (July 21), MTV announced the nominees for the 2015 Video Music Awards, and most of the usual suspects are involved: Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheeran, Beyoncé, and so on. Don't worry: Rock and roll is also well represented, thanks to the likes of Jack White, Hozier, Arctic Monkeys, the Weeknd, Florence + the Machine and others.

While there are a few snubs we're disappointed by, like Tame Impala's "'Cause I'm A Man" and Courtney Barnett's “Pedestrian at Best,” there are more than enough worthy clips up for consideration. The ceremony airs Sunday, Aug. 30, at 9PM ET. Get more details here.
