Metallica Drop in on Colbert Report to Perform and Talk About “Through the Never” Movie [VIDEO]

How long has it been since Metallica made a TV appearance? Probably when MTV still had something to do with music...you know before television was in color...
So, when they popped up on the Colbert Show last night (Sept 24th), you know they had something important to talk about. Something like their new 3D IMAX movie "Through the Never". Hey, even the Mighty Met isn't above pimping something they've put so much blood, sweat, and tears (not to mention money) into. No matter what the reason, and no matter how long it's been, it was nice to see them crank up "For Whom the Bell Tolls" on that little stage. The performance hits at about 4:17...

The new Metallica movie, Metallica Through The Never, hits IMAX 3D theatres on September 27th and theatres everywhere on October 4th.
