As I opened the door of his pitch black dressing room.  He stands, looks out from beneath his floppy-rimmed Fedora and says: "I see you brought the good-looking one."  At that very moment, I felt my soul slowly slipping away from my body. It was beautiful. I take seat on the couch beside him with the only light in the room coming from a red-shaded lamp situated in the corner on the other side of us...

In case you have ever wondered how Marilyn Manson, someone with such a massive amount of material chooses the setlist for each show, his decision process varies on a number of things.  At the 2015 Carolina Rebellion music Festival in Concord, North Carolina, the shock rocker explains that process and it may or may not surprise you. He is quite considerate of his fans and any potential danger(s) surrounding each show's performance.

It is safe to say that Marilyn Manson's The Pale Emperor is the most mature album from the creative genius to date.  The shock rocker also shared with me his desire with this ninth studio album of, oddly enough, being able to prove to himself that he "will not falter in the face of mortality," (referring to loss of his mother last year,) and Manson credits this album as the album he "found his voice on."

The album is currently being supported by The Hell Not Hallelujah tour, which will be followed this summer by a co-headlining tour with longtime friend Billy Corgan and his band The Smashing Pumpkins on The End Times tour.  See the dates below for a city near you:
