LSU’s Smylie Kaufman Is Playing For The Masters Title
What is former LSU golfer Smylie Kaufman doing today? Just playing in the final grouping for the Masters Championship. No big deal right?
Kaufman played for LSU through his collegiate career, as a second generation Tiger. Both of his parents golfed and graduated from LSU. His grandfather was once the golf coach at University of Alabama – Birmingham.
He has golfed his way into the final pairings for the Masters today, coming out from totally off the radar. But he’s staying humble, and grounded, traits well known around Baton Rouge. In fact, he’s taking this incredible opportunity to push for another LSU athlete, Leonard Fournette:
