Exotic dancers under the age of 21 in Louisiana are happy today after a Federal Court order stopped enforcement of a law that mandates strippers be 21 or older. 3 performers sued the state, claiming that the new law is unconstitutional and overly broad.

A spokesperson for Louisiana Alcohol Commissioner Juana Lombard says the law was put in place to prevent human trafficking and the state doesn't believe there is anything unconstitutional or vague about the law.

The temporary block will stay in place until the case goes to trial or US District Judge Carl Barbier makes a final decision on the law's constitutionality.

Barbier's 41 page ruling says the strippers who filed the suit make a strong case against law.
