A day after severe weather devastated many communities in Southeast Louisiana, the weather was sunny and calm fully...

The day after a tornado ripped through parts of south Louisiana and the Gulf Coast, Louisiana State Police were able to capture aerial footage of the damage to Sugar Hill RV Park in Convent, LA.

While skies were clear Wednesday when this video was filmed, just one day before, Tuesday, February 23, 2016, severe weather wreaked havoc in parts of Southeast Louisiana and beyond, resulting in two fatalities reported by the St. James Parish Sheriff's Office, dozens of injuries and damage to approximately 100 RVs/trailers.

Governor John Bel Edwards took time out of the special legislative sessions going on now in Baton Rouge to thank first responders.

After viewing this video and the pictures from the wreckage, I think it's safe to say it was truly a miracle we didn't experience even more loss. Please join us in praying for all those affected in Tuesday's storms.
