Well of course she knows how to cook...she's from Louisiana!

The lights, camera and action didn't phase this 12-year-old girl from Mandeville, Louisiana. In fact, the pressure probably upped the ante on who would be crowned Food Network's latest  'Chopped Jr.' champion. Lucky for Emily Roche, a sixth-grader from Mandeville Middle School, she didn't crack under pressure.

Preparing meals involving beef tongue, quail and bread pudding, Emily definitely impressed the judges and won her the grand prize of $10,000. Not bad for a sixth grader!

After winning the money, Emily was asked what she would do with the money:

"I plan on saving most of it, maybe for culinary school, or like a car. Or a house, maybe. I don't know. I'm only 12. Most 12-year-olds would be like 'Cha ching! Cha ching! My money's gone!'"

Congratulations to Emily and obviously, 'the best chef won!'
