I get it. Every generation of teenagers will hate what the generations before them did. My generation hated hair bands and women's shoulder pads.

Even though I understand it, doesn't mean I have to like it.

Watching these 'teens react' videos gives me some weird feeling that I can't describe very well. I don't hate these kids, I don't fully disagree with their statements, and I fully understand what they're doing. But something in my gut twists when I see them laugh as they verbally shred what we were doing in the 90s.

Most of us can look back on JNCO jeans and realize they were a borderline joke. Like kids of the 70s can look back on platform shoes. But what we don't need is someone from outside our generation to mock it.
