Julio Franco broke into Major League Baseball in 1982 for the Philadelphia Phillies, and the 3-time All Star remained in the majors until 2007. When he left the Braves at the end of his career, he was 48-years-old. This ageless wonder wasn't done with baseball though.

Franco spent last summer just hours West of Shreveport as an infielder/DH for the Fort Worth Cats, at the age of 55.

Now the Cats are having issues with their stadium, and the 2015 season remains uncertain, but if Franco resigns with the team you could potentially see something in baseball you'll never see again. A man who is playing strictly for the love of the game, and an age most of us couldn't imagine.
