In the South, food isn't just what we eat to keep us alive. Food is family and love and laden with bacon...just as God intended. When Northerners try our food for the first time, they can easily be transported to a hot kitchen somewhere where a grandmother is stirring a pot of something. Southern food is magical in that sense.

But what would someone from a completely different country...say Ireland...think about what we have to offer. Could their delicate potato and cabbage craving palates take the explosive flavor we like to pack into ever lard coated mouthful?
