In This Moment will be hitting the road with Korn and Rob Zombie this summer, but when they do there will be a new drummer behind the kit. The band's longtime stickman Tom Hane has announced his exit from the band.

In a new posting on his Instagram account, it appears as though news of Hane's exit leaked before he wanted it to, but since it has, he decided to address it with the fans. He states, "Well, I wanted to wait (out of respect for ITM's wishes) but seeing how it's out in the open now, I'll explain. Yes, I have left In This Moment."

He continued, "I have had an amazing four years with some amazing people and wouldn't trade it for anything. However, I have struggled to be truly happy, creatively. The reason I started drumming / writing music was because it made me happy. I didn't want to stay for the wrong reasons. This WILL NOT be a departure from music for me. I have some great things on the horizon and hope you all join me in my new journey. I'd also like to thank every single person, fan and colleague that made the last four years so special. You all mean the world to me.
See you soon."

Hane joined the band in 2011 and handled drums on their 2012 album Blood as well as the band's most recent effort, 2014's Black Widow disc. The drummer has not revealed what his next project will be and In This Moment have not publicly commented on his exit as of yet. As stated, In This Moment will be back on the road later this spring and into summer. First, the band has a European trek booked for the month of May, with their support slot on the Korn / Rob Zombie tour set to follow in July running into September.
