If you're a parent, then you've probably experienced a child drawing on something they're not supposed to.  Like the wall of their bedroom, or inside the family Bible. My eldest daughter once wrote her name into the side of our Ford Aerostar with a stick.

If you've got a budding artist in the family, there's an event this weekend where they can draw all over the sidewalk to their hearts' desire.  Shreve Memorial Library is hosting "Parking Lot Piccasos" this Saturday, April 22nd, from 10:00-11:00am at branches throughout the city and in Vivian.

The event is for children age 4-10 and kids can draw on the sidewalks in front of the library alone or in groups.  Parents will be asked to stay with the kids and they're urged to participate.
