The 2012 Summer Olympic Games, officially the Games of the XXX Olympiad, and also known as London 2012 as per the official logo, are scheduled to take place in London, England, United Kingdom from 27 July to 12 August 2012.

Before I go any further, let me make it clear that while I appreciate the talent, the effort, and the time these athletes put into being an Olympic champion – I’d rather watch my dog relieve himself on the lawn than spend a minute watching most of the events that will be running nonstop on TV for what seems like…forever…
