We’d Love to Get Stuck in a Sand Trap with These 5 Hot Female Golfers

Golf is far from the most thrilling sport to watch. Nothing against the Professional Golf Association, but watching guys in flat caps and tight slacks hit a golf ball with their 9-irons just doesn’t do it for us. However, throw in hot chicks in short skirts and knee-high socks and now you’ve got our attention.

To celebrate the upcoming Rock and Roll at the 19th Hole golf tournament on October 5 at Olde Oakes in Haughton, here are some of our favorite female golfers.

Blair O’Neal

O’Neal is a triple threat. She’s a golfer, collegiate champion and model. She has a number of trophies under her belt, including wins at the Cactus Tour Event. O’Neal was also named one of the 50 hottest athletes in 2008 by Sports Illustrated.

Maria Verchenova

This Russian-born swinger has played around the world, winning the Russian Amateur Championship in 2004 and 2006. Verchenova suffered a back injury in 2010 that hampered her performance. After checking out the pictures at her website, we suffered a completely different injury.

Natalie Gulbis

The buxom blonde Gulbis fittingly hails from California and got her pro start at the age of 18. An avid Twitter user, Gulbis has accrued over 127,000 followers. She’s currently part of the LGPA. Interesting fact: she appeared in the second season of “The Apprentice.”

Paula Creamer

Despite winning the U.S. Women’s Open in 2010, Creamer suffered a loss this month against South Korean Jiyai Shin at the Kingsmill Championship. Win or lose, we have a soft spot for Creamer if only for those candy-striped, knee-high socks.

Beatriz Recari

Recari brings a little Latin flavor to the LGPA. Joining the group in 2010, the Pamplona, Spain native loves to blog about her career, family and fashion. We’re more interested in gawking at her post-swing.
