A LOT of people are pissed about spending a $100 on the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight. And, to a certain extent, I get it. I'm a huge boxing fan. I think the fight was good (not great) and we were all expecting a fire fight that never happened. Mayweather dominated right out the gate and made Pac Man look like a flailing amateur.  But, if heavy hits and knockouts are what you're looking for, check out my list of some of the greatest fights in boxing history.

    Gatti vs. Ward

In my humble opinion, this is THE greatest fight of my lifetime. Gatti vs. Ward is the story of two warriors stepping into the ring and giving it their all. This is the definition of a championship fight. If you've never watched Gatti vs. Ward 1 or 2, search YouTube and watch them because they are amazing.

De La Hoya vs. Mosley I

Another match up of modern era boxing Titans, De La Hoya vs. Mosley is an all-time great. These guys led into the fight with a lot of smack talk and backed every last word of it up in the ring. Both guys said they were shooting for a knock out, and the action in the ring proved they weren't lying.

    Hagler vs. Hearns

This is the fight that most great fights are compared to. Hagler vs. Hearns was eight minutes of solid action. These two guys threw caution into the wind looking to cement their boxing legacy.

    Holyfield vs. Foreman

As far as heavyweights go, Evander Holyfield and George Foreman have to be in the conversation of Greatest Heavyweights of All Time (behind Muhammad Ali of course). These two greats faced off in the ring in 1991, and had just a phenomenal fight.

    'Iron' Mike Tyson

Mike Tyson in his prime truly was the baddest man on the planet. In my mind, during that period, he could have destroyed anyone including Muhammad Ali. Who knows? Without the trip to prison, Mike could have gone down as the greatest fighter of all time.

With that being said, there is NO way to possibly narrow down Tyson's body of work to just one great fight considering most of his didn't get out of the first couple of rounds. So, instead, here are some of his best knockouts.

    Thrilla in Manila

You can't make a list of the greatest fights of all time and not include a Frazier vs. Ali. Their trio of classic fights are probably the three greatest fights in the history of boxing. There are movies, documentaries, websites, and everything solely dedicated to these three fights.
