Watch Henry Rollins’ New Calvin Klein Ad

Leave it to Henry Rollins to take a Calvin Klein jeans ad to the next level. Asked to fill in the phrase "I (blank" in #mycalvins," Rollins says he's done some "I can't believe I'm still alive kind of things."

Check out the former Black Flag frontman's spot above. The fall 2016 Calvin Klein campaign also features Kate Moss, Frank Ocean, David Blaine and Young Thug, among others.

Rollins, who prepared a Spotify playlist to go with this advertisement, is in the midst of a world-wide spoken-word tour. He'll be in Europe this August, then heads to Australia before returning to North America in October. His preparation is just as rigorous as his schedule.

“This year, I’ll be doing well over 100 speaking dates in about 20 counties. I’ve been in 14 countries so far this year," Rollins says in a Q&A chat paired with this video premiere. "There are no notes, no bottle of water, just me and my brain for about 2 hours and 40 minutes at a high speed. It’s go, go, go. ... I get to the gym every day if possible because that gets my mind ready for the show. The whole day is basically a funnel, where I start in the morning wide and as the day goes on, we’re narrowing in on 8:00 when I go on stage.”

Rollins' Spotify playlist includes David Bowie, Motorhead, Iggy Pop, the Rolling Stones, the Clash, the Ramones and Tom Waits, among others.
