Topping a bill that featured System of a Down, Evanescence, and others, Guns 'N' Roses (well, the Axl Rose led new millennium Guns 'N' Roses) closed out the Rock in Rio Festival last Sunday night.

A surprise to no one, the band hit the stage fashionably late. Almost two hours late. But, this time I give them the benefit of the doubt - they were playing in a downpour. They probably wanted to see if the rain would stop. No consolation to the half-a-bazillion fans left standing in the monsoon for over two hours.

But once they hit the stage, Axel's GNR did not disappoint, ripping through a 20-song, 2 1/2 hour set that included "estranged', a song that hasn't been played live in over twenty years.
