For as much as Axl Rose's notorious behavior has gotten him into trouble throughout his career, he also has a soft side. This was on full display recently during Guns N' Roses' April 1 concert at the Devassa On Stage in Florianopolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil, when he allowed a man to propose to his girlfriend during the show. The video, beginning just before the engagement happens, is embedded above.

In the middle of 'Knockin' on Heaven's Door,' Rose spotted a fan holding a sign that read, "I wanna ask my girlfriend to marry me in your concert." He asked the band to bring the music down as he brought the couple on stage, saying, "Rev. Rose is waiting."

Rose took them to center stage, at which point he handed the man the microphone and left the spotlight. The man dropped to one knee and popped the question. The woman, Marina Santiago, accepted, and the couple kissed as the crowd roared. "Congratulations, and we wish them all the best," Rose said as the newly engaged couple left the stage.

"A dream come true! I'm the luckiest fan in the world," Santiago told Ultimate Classic Rock. This weekend, Guns N’ Roses will headline the Rock on the Range music festival in Ohio, and then change gears for an intimate residency in Las Vegas. You can buy tickets for those Sin City shows, which kick off May 21, right here.
