We Are Less Than A Month Away From Geek’d Con!

Look, I'm a huge nerd. I have more comics than any grown man should. My house is decorated in 1970's Star Wars chic. And I guess that's why I'm pumped for Geek'd Con! The event is less than a month away (22 days and counting)! They have some killer guests, awesome events, and great vendors lined up for this year's event. 

Happening August 21-23 at the Shreveport Convention Center, this is hands down the biggest Nerd convention to come to the area. The line up of guests include: Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca from all the Star Wars movies), Jeremy London (Mallrats),Kim Rhodes (Star Trek, Supernatural), Lindsey McKeon (Supernatural), Jim Cummings (Darkwing Duck, Winnie the Pooh), Rob Paulsen (Animaniacs, Pinky & the Brain), Maurice LaMarche (Futurama, Pinky & the Brain), and a whole lot more.

On top of that, all the voice actors will be doing a script reading in their famous characters' voices. For example, if they read through the Star Wars Script, Winnie the Pooh may be Darth Vader, Kif could be Luke, Pinky as Han, Wakko as Chewy...the possibilities are endless and hilarious!

The weekend will also feature several panels, a Magic Tournament, Cosplay contest and more!
