Geek’d Con Guests: Josh Martin

Next week is Geek'd Con at the Shreveport Convention Center. There are guests from all corners of the geek universe, including anime. Which will be represented by a couple of special guests.

One of those special guests is anime voice actor Josh Martin, best known for his stint as Majin Buu (Fat, Evil, and Kid) in Dragon Ball Z. Martin not only voiced Buu in American dubs of the cartoon, he got a chance to voice the character in the Dragon Ball Z video games.

But Martin's work isn't limited to Dragon Ball, he's also known for his work as Yosaku in the anime One Piece.

Perhaps his most recognizable role was one where you probably didn't even know it was him. Martin has a unique role on his resume, he was Barney the Dinosaur on Barney and Friends. If you're cool about it, he might even tell you some stories about being under that big purple head.
