Geek’d Con Guests: Azure Parsons

Geek'd Con is on the way this week to the Shreveport Convention Center in Downtown Shreveport. Guests range from sci-fi actors all the way to comic book artists, with pro wrestlers mixed in between.

Part of this year's Geek'd Con lineup centers around the State of Louisiana. Like actress Azure Parsons, who is a native of Louisiana. She's appeared in shows like True Detective (filmed in Louisiana), The Astronaut Wives Club, and Salem (filmed locally in the Shreveport area). 

Her film roles include Red Clover (or Leprechaun's Revenge) with Billy Zane, 2 Guns with Denzel Washington, and Paradise with Russel Brand. But its her TV roles that have created the most buzz for her.

In Salem, she portrayed a recurring character named Gloriana Embry, who is always welcome back to the screens of the shows fans. Her other breakout role was portraying Annie Glenn, wife of Astronaut John Glenn, in ABC's The Astronaut Wives Club.
