Customers at a Raleigh, N.C., bagel shop pitched in when their favorite employee needed a hand.

Shirley Ratliff has been a dedicated Bruegger's Bagels employee for years and its customers love her, WTVD-TV reported.

She remembers everyone's name. She remembers their orders. And she always has a smile on her face.

So, when customers heard Shirley had to take three buses to get to work because she didn't have a car, they took up a collection and bought her a new ride. Well, not a NEW ride, but a ride nonetheless.
