A police dash cam caught the terrifying moment that a home exploded in Ocean County, N.J., on Tuesday.

While crews were on the scene responding to a possible gas leak in Stafford Township, it became VERY clear that there was indeed a leak.

As a Stafford Township police officer was walking back to his vehicle, the home suddenly exploded. He hopped in and hit the record button on his dash cam, which automatically captures the previous 30 seconds, Philadelphia's WPVI-TV ABC 6 reported.

Fifteen people were injured in the explosion, including seven New Jersey Natural Gas workers, six firefighters and two EMTs. Two of them are in critical condition, but the injuries are non-life threatening, WPVI-TV reported.
