Things got a little awkward Wednesday during a Minnesota Twins news conference where it was announced that Torii Hunter was signing a one-year, $10.5 million deal to return to the Major League Baseball club after playing with the Detroit Tigers.

Hunter has made the news a few times recently because of his beliefs on gay marriage. He's against it.

During the presser, a reporter figured it was the best time to bring up the subject of politics and gay marriage to Hunter, WCCO-TV reported.

Hunter's response was, understandably, a bit awkward.
