Sometimes, it is a lot better to remember things from your childhood as fond memories, rather than try to revisit them as adults.

Spoiler Alert: Hungry Hungry Hippos sucks as a grown-up. All that clackety-clackety...balls rolling around everywhere...it's annoying at best.

But one would think that musical performers only get better with age and experience. And if they, at some point, thought they were not giving their fans what they deserved, wanted, and expected, they would bow out leaving nothing but memories of their greatness etched into our brains.
