Foo Fighters are currently on their U.S. tour in support of their most recent album, Sonic Highways, and as usual, frontman Dave Grohl is snatching up headlines left and right. After breaking his leg during the band's show in Sweden last month, Grohl, as well as the rest of the band, were forced to cancel their Glastonbury appearance and a few other European dates, but have proceeded with their North American tour as the frontman (in a cast) sits atop a Game Of Thrones-esque throne while performing.

They've been bringing out all kinds of surprise guests along the way, including the Red Hot Chili PeppersChad Smith for a cover of Rod Stewart's "Stay With Me" at New York's Citi Field. Now, while performing at Boston's Fenway Park last night (July 19), Grohl brought out an extra special guest ... his orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Lew C. Schon. Together they sang a dramatic version of the White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army," fan-shot footage of which you can watch above.

The band's HBO miniseries that coincided with Sonic Highways was recently nominated for a 2015 Emmy. The full schedule of the band’s tour, which will continue until November, can be found at their website.
