I am so very pumped about this concert. I have loved Filter ever since they first hit the airwaves in 1995 with "Hey Man Nice Shot" and then of course their other hit single "Take A Picture" back in 1999. This band has been put in the same category of some of the best bands of the 90's like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and NIN. Their latest album "The Trouble With Angels" was released back in 2010 and peeked at #7 on The Top Rock Albums. The guys have been on tour since the release of their fifth album and have been contributing songs to various movie soundtracks.  Well I'm proud to say we are gonna be blessed to see Filter on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at one of my favorite hangouts, The Riverside Warehouse.. The Warehouse is a god send to the Shreveport/Bossier area, they bring some of the best rock bands to the Arklatex. I remember when I was younger I had Malibu Alley to go to which I got to see some of the best rock bands now, but then they were all new comers to the rock scene. For example; I got to see Incubus, Tool, ICP, and Limp Bizkit just to name a few. When Malibu Alley closed down we didn't have a place that featured live rock. Then this little hole in the wall place called The Riverside Warehouse opened up and we once again have a place to enjoy all things rock. The staff at The Warehouse are all awesome and cool to hang with and they have pretty good drink prices. If your lucky you just might get to see my favorite bartender perform some bar tricks that are pretty impressive to say the least. The doors are gonna open at 8pm and Filter should hit the stage @ 9pm. This is a 21yr old and up show. The price is $20.00 which if you ask me, that is a freaking awesome price to see such an amazing band. Openning for Filter are some pretty cool local bands, Another Beautiful Letdown and River Blindness. So you are gonna get to experience some local rock along with this great international band known as Filter. The Warehouse is located 630 Commerce St, in downtown Shreveport. You can get your tickets at www.frontgatetickets.com.  So in less then 24 hours, we are gonna be able to rock out to Filter and its gonna be a great way to kickoff the back to school year. So mark your calenders and get your tickets and come rock out with me at The Warehouse on Saturday August 13, 2011 for the Filter concert....
