Festapalooza Spotlight: Those Crazy Swedish Kids, AVATAR!

I think I can pretty much speak for the majority of you (and I will), when I say I am totally 'effin PUMPED to see Avatar at this year's Festapalooza! Take Meshuggah, Marilyn Manson, Willy Wonka's Choclate Factory, and several sheets of acid - mix it all up in a bum's burn barrel while a washed up carnival barker pees on it and you have Avatar. And I really mean that in the best way possible. These guys are dirty, loud, crazy, and in your face! What's not to love?

Now, a lot of folks think that Avatar are a new band which is not true at all. They've actually been around for a decade or so now. The band has seen some major success in their native Sweden although 'Hail the Apocalypse' is the band's second release state side.

Since branching out and becoming internationally known, the band's albums have been very well received world wide. Although, what really grabs people about Avatar is their live show. If you've never had the pleasure of check these guys out in person, all I can say is 'HOLY SH*T'!!!!!
