It is crazy to me how talented Chris Jericho is. Not only is he unquestionably one of the best Professional Wrestlers ever, but the guy is one hell of a frontman too. If you don't know the story behind Fozzy, it is pretty amazing.

The band came together in 2000 when Jericho was unable to wrestle to due an ankle injury. Fozzy originally started as a cover band with the insane back story that they had signed with a record company to move to Japan to be huge rock stars, but the company went out of business, leaving them stranded for 20 years, while all their demos were snatched and recorded by other bands. Even better, Jericho performed in the band under the name Mongoose McQueen.

After cranking out a few cover albums, the band really started to get serious releasing their first album of original material called 'All That Remains' in 2003. Since then, the band has really picked up momentum and started kicking ass.

They've performed at several MAJOR festivals and have shared the stage with the likes of Avenged Sevenfold, Theory of a Deadman, and Rob Zombie. So, if you are thinking this band is just getting gigs because Chris Jericho is a popular wrestler, you are sadly mistaken.

Check out some of Fozzy's best tunes below and make sure come see them September 20th at the Smith & Forge Festapalooza II along side Scott Weiland & the Wildabouts, Kevin Martin of Candlebox & Friends, Fuel, Avatar, Charm City Devils, and Caroline's Spine!
