Travis Orr, the father of 3-year-old twins Oliver and Aria Orr, who passed away after being unable to get out of the family's pickup truck has spoken out in an interview with People magazine. Understandably heartbroken over the tragedy, Orr, a deputy with the Bossier Parish Sheriffs Office, stated he and wife Alisha are "doing the best we can."

Bossier Parish Sheriff Julian Whittington issued the following statement earlier this week.

"We are saddened by the tragic loss suffered by the Orr family, and our hearts are heavy. This is a very difficult time, but it’s even more so, as they are a part of our Bossier Sheriff’s Office family. Please keep Deputy Travis Orr and his family in your thoughts and prayers."

The twins who were laid to rest in a small private funeral on Wednesday have captured the hearts of many across the country. Prayers and words of encouragement for the family have been said as this tragic loss has gotten national attention.
