As if it wasn't bad enough that this man was driving a bus without a license.

More details are coming out about the multi-car accident that occurred on I-10 in LaPlace, Louisiana. According to WAFB, state police have stated that the man driving a bus that exacerbated the crash is facing charges for driving without a license, reckless operation, and negligent homicide.

The wreck caused two deaths.

One of those deaths was a St. John Parish Fire district chief and a passenger. Dozens were injured. According to authorities, the initial crash that caused emergency vehicles to be called to the scene was a Nissan that lost control on the wet roads and crashed into a guardrail. While first responders were on the scene, a bus ran right into the firetruck that was blocking oncoming traffic from the scene and pushing it into other cars and the guardrail.

The bus was driven by Denis Yasmir Amaya Rodriguez of Honduras.

State police say that not only should he have not been at the helm or the bus, or any vehicle for that matter, he is also in the country illegally. He know awaits formal charges.
