Former NFL player Darren Sharper, who is currently incarcerated on rape charges, has been nominated to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The Hall does not take a former player's character or conduct into account during the nomination process. Sharper is currently in prison for 20 years after he admitted to raping three women in New Orleans and sexually assaulted more around the country.

Will he make it into the NFL Hall of Fame? Probably not. But I think we would all agree that it's time the NFL takes a former player's conduct into consideration before the nomination process.

Sharper played 14 seasons in the National Football League. To see the full list of nominees, click HERE.
