I wish this was a joke...

We are getting closer to the Total Solar Eclipse which will take place Monday August 21st and will be able to seen across the United States with watch parties all over. This was concerning for a mom in Dallas who wanted to see if it could be rescheduled due to her kids being in school that day... The answer is no and she has since gone viral. The comment by no one's surprise has since been deleted.

And yes there will be watch parties and events all around the Ark-La-Tex with the Eclipse visible in our area starting around 11:40am! A local group has been made on Facebook for anyone to post about watch parties or tips for the Eclipse which you can check it out by clicking HERE!

The last time a Total Solar Eclipse was seen from the United States was in 1979 but the last time one was seen across the US like this was 1918!
