Man Wakes Up to Find Giant Crocodile Under His Bed [Video]

We're not all that shocked by giant reptiles here in Louisiana. Then again, we don't often wake up and see one sleeping under our beds. A man in Zimbabwe, Africa got the shock of a lifetime when he woke up to find a vicious crocodile under his bed.

According to ABC News, Guy Whittall woke up after spending the night at a lodge to discover an 8-ft. long, 300 lb. crocodile just relaxing under his bed. More surprising is the fact that Whittall claimed had no idea the croc was even there.

"The really disconcerting thing about the whole episode is the fact that I was sitting on the edge of the bed that morning, barefoot and just centimeters away from the croc," said Whittall.

Talk about too close to comfort! Luckily for Whittall, he wasn't attacked. The crocodile was probably just trying to get a little rest, so it was docile. That is, until people came in to remove the beast. Shocker: crocodiles don't enjoy being manhandled.

We know we'll be checking under our beds tonight just in case!
