The Shreveport Municipal Fire and Police Civil Service Board is holding the city of Shreveport in contempt due to its failure to reinstate a Shreveport Police Detective they say was wrongly fired.

Detective James Greene was fired in February of 2015 after a woman made allegations that Greene sexually assaulted her. However, Greene was found not guilty of the charges and the Service Board ruled that Greene be reinstated. Due to the City's failure to reinstate Greene as ordered by the Board, they could face hefty fines and stern legal action.
