Authorities in Marshall, Texas, are searching for suspects in a Harrison County cattle theft case.

Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association Special Ranger Larry Hand says someone has taken 12 head of yearling cattle, three saddles, seven bridles and several tools from a cattle ranch sometime between Sept. 29 and Sept. 30, 2014.

The cattle were penned late Monday at the ranch off US 59, south of Marshall. The owner planned to ship the cattle Tuesday.

Hand says there were 11 black yearlings, with the majority being steers, and one charolais heifer stolen. The cattle were not branded, but most of them had blue fly tags in their ears.

Anyone with information regarding this case should contact TSCRA's Operation Cow Thief hotline at 888-830-2333, or call Hand at 903-592-5252. A cash reward may be paid to anyone who can provide useful information leading to the arrest and indictment of the suspect(s).
