There might be some hope for ROCK music on American Idol. I heard just today about this total rocker kid on this season, and I had to see it for myself. Check out James Durbin from the latest season of American Idol paying homage to Judas Priest with a pretty impressive rendition of "You've Got Another Thing Comin'." I was SHOCKED to hear that someone attempted to do Priest on American Idol! And it's not half bad at all in my opinion.
Someone should tell the TV executives out there that we need another reality show, like we need another hole in the head. But, seeing as they really aren't human after all that probably won't help. Case in point this new low in TV show development.
495 Productions -- the same company that is responsible for the “Jersey Shore,” “Tool Academy” and “Shot At Love” -- is looking for the wildest and most "compelling " mothers and daughters from across the nation for another TV reality series and another reason for the rest of the world to think we are depraved lunatics.
WTF is a Snooki any way? To put it simply, a Snooki is a robot being controlled by tiny creatures from another planet that just want to see what stupid non-sense will take hold of our world's attention. Okay that's just a theory, but really can someone make this Snooki go away? I'm not all that miffed about her resent cover of the Rolling Stone, since I have long gave up on that rag. I was cool with it as long as it stayed in it's own little world of MTV Reality Show stupidity, but now it is seeking control over WWE!
Over the past week or so, it seems that Charlie has been on every possible network, radio station, and TV show in America. You know it was inevitable - Charlie gets his own cooking show. Now that's WINNING!
I am very proud of the fact that I have not one single time since it's inception, watched American Idol. I just don't think that it brings anything of value. Okay maybe Chris Daughtry, but even that's a stretch. If you are anything like me you really don't need another reason to HATE American Idol. But if you don't already DESPISE this show and everything it stands for then this might just send you over the edge.

If you are a fan of Arrested Development, you will probably remember that episode where Tobias is exposed for being a "never nude."
NOW, "The Lame Channel" is basing an episode of, "My Strange Addiction," on "never nudes." Yeah, a fictional disease is their focus in this hard hitting show that uncovers such addictions as: eating Comet Cleanser, eating couch cushions, and eating glass.
